Eco-Friendly Art statement: ECO-FRIENDLY ART by ALINA EYDEL
Alina Eydel’s latest series of artwork incorporates eco-friendly farmed butterfly wings from rainforest nations worldwide. The butterfly farmers of these nations help prevent rainforest deforestation. Families in India, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Peru, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia collect, farm, and sell insect specimens instead of destroying valuable rainforests for logging or agricultural land. Under the lush rainforest canopy, the butterflies live out their naturally short lifespans, flying freely and laying eggs to replenish the population, before they are collected. Alina Eydel incorporated these beautiful butterflies in her artwork to evolve her artistic concepts and preserve butterfly species and precious rainforests By purchasing Alina’s butterfly pieces, you are supporting the protection and restoration of rainforests around the world. NO LIVE BUTTERFLIES WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THESE ARTWORKS
Konstantyn’s watercolors are now displayed in Museums in Russia and Ukraine, and owned by numerous art collectors in Europe, Japan and the USA
